Thank you so much for stopping by The Readdicts Book Blog.

Janhvi and Sarika are bookworms from India. They have been friends for a very long time now; all their mutual likes, dislikes and everything in between contributed in making them best friends.

Janhvi is a part-time student and is currently working as an intern, whereas Sarika teaches French after having completed her Masters in the language with a specialization in literature.

Janhvi is a lover of books, ice-cream and chocolate.

Sarika, on the other hand, breathes Harry Potter, and is still trying to figure the (Muggle) world out.

Just like most of their ideas pop up, the idea of starting a book blog also came up over coffee.
Both the girls love to discuss and dissect everything that they read. They had been following and reading book blogs regularly for quite some time, and decided that it would be cool to start one of their own, so they could share their bookish thoughts with all the other book bloggers out there.

We hope you like this blog and that you stop by again soon.

You can contact J & S (for anything) at- thereaddicts(at)gmail(dot)com

J and S' virtual social profiles can be found in the blog's left bar.

Happy reading!

  1. Wow, interesting! I studied Political Economy in college and took up French, trying to continue studying it here at home.

And I love books, chocolate, and ice cream as well! :)

  3. Hello Sarika and Janhvi, I've recently discovered your blog and I just love it ...I read almost every review at full speed. I am Madalina (or just Maddy) from Romania, I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and German - Language and Literature (University Alexandru Ioan Cuza from Iasi, Romania) and I am currently a Master student in English and French - Translation Studies. I want to tell you that I am also very passionate about literature, i love chocolate and ice cream (especially together) and I love Harry Potter - i really wish I could taste some tracle tart and sip some butterbeer (yummy) - still waiting for my letter :(. I Also wanted to know if you have ever posted a review of "Anna and the French Kiss" because I saw it was mentioned in one of your posts. Also, some other titles to which I would be interested in reading your reviews are "Prom and Prejudice", "Lola and the boy next door", "French kiss", "Love at first Click", "Top ten uses of an unused Prom dress", "Old Magic". And some series - "Harry Potter" (obviously), "The House of Night", "Twilight".
Thanks for the reviews and keep up the good work!! Best of luck!
